Its main propose is to make the volunteer genuine contribution to staff working and other responsibility in the Nepalese community Hospitals and different medical clinics. Volunteer also can benefit in dissimilar seasonal health camps of teeth, eyes, ears and women problems. Volunteers get hands on clinical experience and get to observe and experience the healthcare system in Nepal. Suturing wounds, giving vaccinations, being involved in the daily procedures of the hospital – observing or directly providing various sorts of assistance to existing doctors and nurses.
Volunteers may also be expected to assist in administrative tasks such as conducting hospital rounds with the doctors, maintaining files, routine patient check-ups, measure blood pressure, body temperature, record patient’s height, weight, and more.
