Great opportunity to play with children in remote areas of Nepal
PAC-Nepal offered school teaching volunteer for a short period of time to mix-up with remote children of Nepali village. The newest and surprising experience will energize the volunteer in their personality.
Teaching in Community Schools: Education in Nepal is quite expensive. In rural area of Nepal few schools are only operating. People are financially weak and they cannot afford to teach their children. Rather sending in school for formal education they evolve in household work. Being volunteer you can contribute a lot for the future of Himalayan children. If you wish you can sponsor children for their entire education also. Volunteers will stay with a Nepali family near school and will teach for about 2 to 3 hours daily for six days a week (Saturday is off). School children will be 10 to 16 years of age and with basic understanding of English. Volunteers for this program will totally engaged in conversational English teaching. The general role of volunteer will be to act as an older sibling; to care for, look after and encourage the children. Volunteers will teach the children general life skills. Including health and sanitation, as well as arts, crafts and music.
